‘Worker Bee’ to gear up for 38th Fajr Film Festival

New film project ‘Worker Bee’ is gearing up to attend the 38th edition of the Fajr Film Festival.

Directed and produced by Afshin Sadeghi, ‘Worker Bee’, which is currently going through production stage – more specifically finding its music composer, will be submitted to the prestigious Fajr Film Festival in Iran soon.

‘Worker Bee’ has cast some distinguished and praised Iranian actors such as Hamid Farrokhnejad, Pegah Ahangarani, Maral Farjad, Saeed Aqakhani and Shabnam Moqaddami.

A brief synopsis for the film reads, ‘Inji, who’s lost her mother as a child, must now find her father’s being murdered. The only one who has witnessed the murder is friends with the killer.’

The script for the new social flick has been written by Saeed Nematollah who has penned various scenarios for a number of ifilm popular series such as ‘Madness of Love’, ‘Madineh’, ‘Michael’, ‘The Roof of Tehran’ and ‘A Mother’s Sacrifices’.
